The two closest hotels are the Hanover Inn, which is directly across from Dartmouth’s campus, and the Six South St. Hotel; both are in the midst of downtown Hanover. There are several other hotels in the neighboring towns of Lebanon, NH, West Lebanon, NH, and Norwich, VT, all of which are about 5-15 minutes driving to Dartmouth’s campus. You can also find affordable hotels in White River Junction, VT, which is about 12 minutes driving to campus. There is a free bus service that will take you from West Lebanon, Lebanon, Hanover, and White River Junction to campus as well—you can read more about this service here. The best route into Hanover is to fly into Boston or New York and then take the Dartmouth Coach (about 2 hours from Boston; 5 hours from NYC). From here you can get a Taxi or bus to your hotel/AirBnB; there are a few car rentals in Hanover (mainly ZipCar), so driving into town is also an option.
